natalie asked, "will i get to drink tea?" i said yes. she asked, "will it be yucky?"
she chose green tea and had a few sips. not bad for trying it but she didn't drink much.

she did love her raspberry scone though!

lucile's creole cafe - best breakfast ever!

lucile's is an adorable little louisiana style restaurant in fort collins. we started with beignets and chicory coffee.

and then shared eggs new orleans: fried eggplant slices with creole sauce, poached eggs and hollandaise; with grits, potatoes and a biscuit.

natalie was not interested in her rice pudding porridge topped with raspberry sauce, currants, and cream which was AMAZING!

instead she was content with two pats of butter (gross!). she would get a big scoop on her finger and say DE-WICIOUS!

we sat in the "soak zone" and they weren't kidding! i risked it for the sake of getting good pictures. i'm glad i did but i literally took this picture as the water was coming towards us and then we were drenched!

Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes

my brother todd works at terranea, a luxury resort where Jason Mesnick (The Bachelor) and Molly Malaney happened to get married on February 27, 2010. my friend joy and i went there for dinner. that's all we could afford! and figures the night we went was overcast. still gorgeous but just not the same!
