so...we're probably really overdue for this but yesterday was nat's first dentist appointment. i read somewhere that they're supposed to start going when they get their first tooth and i thought that was silly. but then i totally procrastinated and she finally got on JR's insurance this year. so here we are!
she has 20 teeth!
the assistant was really great and squirted water in her hand and let her suck it out with this little tool.
the dentist said her teeth are perfect but the spacing will be very crowded for her adult teeth. he said to start saving for braces now.
i wish he would have left it at, "her teeth are perfect."
when we were leaving the office she said, "i had a great dentist appointment, mom!"
she really did. i'm so proud of her!
So you have inspired me to get off my butt and make Femi's first dentist appointment! I can't believe we haven't taken him yet and he will be four in June! Ack!!! we are bad parents.
