natalie is 38 inches tall! instead of having a doctor tell me, i just measure her on the ride charts at the zoo!
and instead of paying for the big rides, we spent 50cents for this
lil guy and look at what a blast she had!

i think the zookeeper holding the head is making a
ROARing sound!
ostrich's crack me up. they look tame. this one stood in the same spot the entire time we walked around the exhibit. yet they're wild! i actually rode one in south
africa. you hold on to their wings which are HUGE and they run around like they've gone mad. i laughed so hard the whole time. i just can't look at them the same anymore! i think he's even giving me the evil-eye like i was going to jump on his back or something!
love those stripes! except the ones in between the eyes make me dizzy!
giraffes are my favorite. they are so graceful.
the butterfly exhibit was excellent. it's amazing how many there are flying around right past you!
this flower butterfly sculpture was covered in real butterflies.

4. You really should find and scan in the picture of you on the ostrich.
5. I love zebras & giraffes too. Especially baby giraffes.
