it was going to be a really quick trip just to see her and my four sweet nephews and niece (and ron of course!) and be back in time for natalie to start preschool.
***four days turned into two and a half weeks!***
JR was going to be traveling so much (nyc, new jersey, kansas, wisconsin, miami) that we decided not to go back just to be by ourselves.but in the course of that extended vacay i changed my return flight to go to kansas city instead of minneapolis. more explanation to follow.
we changed planes in oklahoma. shout out!
i haven't spent an extended amount of time there but i did love it when we went a different time.

i was so happy to be in town for florence's going away party at la bodega.

it was a ten hour ride. and i was looking forward to it! because even though i majorly adore my little sweet pea, i was going to be on the bus alone!

i loved gazing out my window, reading, napping, texting...it was so nice to do it without a monkey climbing all over me.
